Benchmarking information.

Users regularly report poor performance from the wiki but it is not clear what these problems are, if they are sporadic, or what causes them. As the project should be aiming to improve performance compared to the current LIVE service it is essential that we have:

• measures of  what acceptable performance is
• examples of poor performance (with as much detail as possible)

1. Martin will draw up a test script which will be used  by a variety of users. Their reports   will be  used as a guage of current performance on LIVE.
2. Alain will contact  the wiki upgrade user group with the test script and collect responses.
3. Responses to be collected by 19/8/13
4. User group will also be asked to give details  (as many as possible) of any performance problems they have encountered.

Communication with wiki space owners

It is important to send out regular communications to keep the upgrade in the minds of the wiki users. However these comms should be lightweight  at this stage of the project. We haven't been in touch with the general wiki community since the beginning of July.

1. Martin will draft a brief message for users. This will report that upgrade will not take place at or before start of term and that preparatory work ( DEV build) will begin at the end of the month.

Actions from Design Review:

Updates to TAD:

Riky and Peter are on leave. These updates will be made soon and signed off by devtech.

Updates to BRD:

Alain has made most of the agreed updates to the BRD. We are awaiting feedback from Arthur and Iain on remaining changes.

1. Morna will read new version and check that Objectives in BRD match  those in TOR.
2. Arthur to update training section and UAT section.

Telephone conference with Adaptivist

1. We need to ensure that we have all the info needed so that Adaptivist can start work immediately on 26/8/13
2. We need to get a new contract for the non-fixed price  work
