Scope
- Migration of all eFinancials databases to new database infrastructure
- Testing of eFinancials and related applications and existing interfaces to eFinancials on new database infrastructure
- Resilience, backup and DR testing.
- Agree decommissioning strategy with Finance and Production for old services and servers and carry out decommissioning of superseded services or servers as appropriate
- Highly desirable to install Supplier Self Service Portal Products
- Investigation of ABS single Sign On/Launchpad Products leading to installation of prototype service providing reccomendation for future approach to providing single sign-on/launchpad service
Not in Scope
- Enhancements to existing functionality other than as specifically detailed above.
- Deployment of production single-sign-on/launchpad service
- Improvements to DR or resilience testing not required for a priority-two service.

Benefits
Migration of database to new infrastructure will deliver improved resilience, robustness and performance as detailed by the database upgrad eproject (ITS100)
Ensure that e-expenses service has been tested with the new database infrastructure.
Deployment of Supplier Self-Service portal will allow business owner to make use of this new application to improve relationship with suppliers.
Review of possible improvements to disaster recovery procedures will ensure best practices are being applied to finance services.
Prototype single-sign-on/Launchpad service will allow IS and Finance to plan for the best way to deploy this as a live service.
Decommissioning of superseded servers or services may reduce ongoing support or maintenance costs.
Success Criteria
DEV, TEST and LIVE eFinancials databases migrated to new Infrastructure.
Supplier Self-Service portal available for Finance and Finance suppliers to use.
Prototype Single-Sign-On /Launchpad service delivered. and recommendation on how to progress full delivery of Single-Sign-On /Launchpad service provided.
Agreed improvements or enhancements to DR, backup or resilience measures implemented.
Decommissioning of any services or servers agreed to be within scope of project.
All applications performing as per sign off.
