Plan

Background

Following on from the TEL009 investigation into analytics a further pilot of analytics in Learn and Moodle has been initiated. The TEL019 and the TEL017 have similar overarching aims to deliver access to high quality and understandable analytics directly to students in the context of their courses.

Priority and Funding

Impact and Dependencies

  • Provision of analytic data must not impact on the performance of the Moodle environment
  • The systems are not collecting any new data that is not already collected in the Moodle logs so should not pose any additional load on the system
  • TEL019 will share a steering group with TEL017 because of the similarities in the outcomes of the project

Dates when project Team will be unavailable

Background

The purpose of this project is to develop a consolidated set of system tools within EUCLID to administer the PGR student lifecyle. Currently these tools exist partly in EUCLID and partly in PPMD which was developed as an add on to EUCLID when the original project descoped PGR administration as a priority.

Priority and Funding

Once the Student Hub Re-Design project has been delivered this project will be number 2 priority in the programme behind the assessment and progression project

The days for the project are from the  SSP ring-fenced programme and is set at 135 IS Apps days.

An equivalent amount of days will be required from the BPE Team within Student Sytems .
