Mark expects to complete prep w/c 25/11, ewan expects to complete prep for NEWS w/c 02/11. - Adam has reported that there are only 2 schemas on MIS which require to be addressed/migrated, namely BOXICMS and DIRECT. |

Work has started on the Apps database migration investigations The MISLIVE investigations are planned to complete this week which will be the first milestone to complete. PM to pin down dates on the migrations with User Groups as not all have confirmed or acknowledged being aware of the porject or nomnated testing personnel. |

| New Project To Upgrade Applications Core Infrastructure Technology |
IS Applications are starting projects to migrate applications databases to the new University IT applications infrastructure. The old infrastructure is nearing the end of it's lifespan and we have to move the application databases to ensure we enjoy the benefits of the new set-up in terms of speed, reliability and failover and to ensure continuity of your service. The applications involved range from PURE, Organisational Hierarchy, Space Utilisation Datamart and EVES Student Voting. |
