Current Status w/c 14/10
  • Meeting to be arranged with Project Sponsor and Business lead to agree scope and revisit estimates.
  • Meeting arranged for 14th October.

 

Meeting took place (14th October), and potential reduction in scope will reduce estimate. It will still be over 50 days but project sponsor and program manager believe extra funding could be found.

The new approach  will be to work on APPS , NEWS and UCD while investigating  MIS with a view to retiring.

Estimates continue to be gathered.

PM continues to engage with project stakeholders to determine the most suited time periods for the migration work and downtime with the least impact.

End of planning will move again as project sponsor and programme manager have not sourced budget to allow brief to complete.

  • First cut estimates have proved very high compared to the original small project level 145 days v  50 days.
  • Planning milestone moved to next week as Prodcution review schemas in MISLIVE to look for redundancies.

Current Status w/c 23/09
  • Currently finalising estimates with DEV Tech on the database moves for the Project Brief. expect Dev Tech estimates ot be complete Tuesday 24th.
  • Agreeing Comms approach with Application Management as the databases contain some 'sensitive' applications.
  • Plan to submit brief  this week.
