Meeting Minutes 21/11/2013

Summary of to-days discussion  -ITS103 - Core Technology updates.

Present

Stevie Conlon, Mark Lang , Ewan Scott.

Apologies - Adam Wheavil

General.

- Mark and Ewan continue to work on APPS and NEWs repectively . Preparation progressing. Mark expects to complete prep w/c 25/11, ewan expects to complete prep for NEWS w/c 02/11.

- Adam has reported that there are only 2 schemas on MIS which require to be addressed/migrated, namely BOXICMS and DIRECT.

- Mark and Ewan to review good candidates within the CRON jobs to replace with Database scheduled tasks. This will require effort o estimate from the development team.

Actions for the coming week

1. Ensure functional accounts requested from ITI - Mark/Ewan.

2. Dates will move out and comms from users suggest some conflict with SITS operations and projects- Stevie to replan milestones w/c 25/11.

3. Mark and Ewan will identify good candidates among the CRON jobs to replace with Database scheduled tasks.  Mark/ Ewan

4. Ewan to complete documenting preparation for NEWS and publish to the WIKI.   22/11/2013. Ewan

5. Adam to complete list of LIVE schemas on APPS and NEWS. - Adam

6 Team to review lists of Applications and document final list - All

- Mark to check if infinite is on 11g at present. - Mark has confirmed that Inifinite DB is at 11g , Development Team informed by Stevie. Complete

- Ewan to check access to projects website.- Ewan has appropriate access to the project website. Complete

- Stevie to arrange meeting with Apps Management to discuss testing effort at the Dev stage. Apps Management have agreed to pre-test the development APPS schemas prior to the move. - Complete

Previous Minutes

- Mark almost completed investigations  into prep for Apps move.

- Ewan to begin prep work this week and complete next . Prior to annual leave.

- Work will be done in parallel with Mark and Ewan involved.

- Mark advised leaving BOXI  as is.

- Ewan suggested a greater testing effort should be applied at the Dev stage to give confidence that the migration process works before moving on the TEST phase.

- discussions took place around replacing CRON jobs with scheduled jobs . Further discussion required.
