Research Information Management (RIM) - Small Enhancements

This project will deliver small enhancements that are too large for Production management support.

WP3  - Worktribe to Finance Feed - better capture and logging of errors to provide a more robust data feed plus FIX issue with Sponsor Reference over-flowing field and breaking Project feed from Worktribe to eFin to PURE - see RES058-172

WP1 - SSO for Research Professional to enable personalised alerts for UoE users  ( via Shibboleth integration - business team to write up guidance for Research Professional users) 

WP4 - Replacement for legacy 'HR portal' for RSO ( workaround in MS Access pointing at view in HR)

WP8 - Proof of concept for the Snowball metrics project, install a feed to send data to the Elsevier hosted snowball metrics exchange

All other work packages put on hold , while making space for the next Worktribe Upgrade to v2.4

WP2 - ON HOLD - FIX issue with Actual spend for Small Research Facilities

WP5 - On HOLD -  Implement Worktribe Business Continuity Solution (ON HOLD - As of Jan 2017 - not being prioritised by Service Owner / Programme owner / Project Sponsor)

WP6 - On HOLD - Optimise long-running overnight processes - Actual Spend Import (ON HOLD - it is expected that in 2 years time by March 2019 once all the Finance and Research transactional data are in the new Enterprise Data Wearehouse , then it is likely that actual spend will move to balance rows for each budget category, rather than the current data feed of transactional data)

WP7 - ON HOLD - Optimise long-running overnight processses - Reporting Data Extract to BI (Worktribe Ltd have proposed a workaround, where UoE will buy an extra server to allow the overnight data extract to be off-loaded to another server. Longer -term UoE are pushing Worktribe Ltd to move to sending Deltas of the overnight data extract , rather than all 8 years history every night) 

Other Potential work packages

 Move RSO contracts DB from ERI server to IS Apps managed server ( this work was moved to its own separate project RES066, as it had to be fast-tracked in line with a hard deadline)
