Project Brief

The Scientia Timetabling system has a dataset for each academic year. This is rolled forward each year to allow classes, rooms etc to be allocated for the new academic year.

The roll-forward takes place in steps at appropriate times in the calendar. This is compliance work that is too large to be delivered within the current support budget.

This year the project will be delivered using Agile techniques. The project team believes that this will enable work to be efficiently delivered as clear packages of work, as the project has mutliple delivery milestones befpre the final last delivery on 8 August 2016.
