Project Update:

• Due to annual leave over the October holidays our Design  Sign off is set for Tuesday the 27th of October.  This could not be helped and as our 2 developer are on annual leave at the moment too it has not materially affected our progress.
• The Unidesk Copy has been completed and the Oracle Datamart Schemas have also been setup. With the copy made we can setup Angi with a account on the Unidesk Copy for reporting purposes.  This will deliver one of our mandatory elements which is to take pressure off of Unidesk Live by allowing direct access to our copy of the Unidesk Database.
• Additionally we have had support from Geir Granum to template our SQL CSV files.  This is a great help as it was an areas where our developers felt less confidence.
• Once our developers are back next week they will work in tandem over the following two weeks to build the reporting system.  Ryan will initially complete the SQL work while Rob (our Senior) sets up the Datamart.  Then they will work on the external and internal tables in Oracle.
• After this time John G (Business Owner) will analyse and create our reports in the TEST environment.
• It should be noted that due to the current difficulties with BI DEV we wil be progressing directly to TEST and then LIVE.
• Budget.  We have 78 of our original 100 day budget.  Delivery of our Mandatory elements can be done within a 10% tolerance of that 100 day budget.  We will re-estimate at the end of next week when the developers should be over 50% through the Build in TEST.
• Milestones.  The updated milestones are as follows.  We remain on target to deliver in semester one despite our changes to the design.
