This is a priority 2 project and is funded as part of the MVM programme.

Impact and Dependencies

This project is using the Panopto Lecture capture software.  This pilot is being run by CHSS and the license has been extended to CMVM for the purposes of this pilot.

Long term storage of the media files produced during the pilot may have to be stored elsewhere once the pilot is complete.  For instance they could be stored on the university Media Hopper system.

Making this modern capture software available may increase expectations of a wider central lecture capture deployment and that will need to be managed depending on strategy progress centrally.

As a pilot this is not a fully supported service and it will impact on the local support teams for the CMVM campus.
