The People & Money Target Operating Model (TOM) project aims to provide a roadmap for the governance, delivery and support of the new People & Money system.

The project’s primary objective is to define and document a new system support TOM for Information Services Group (ISG), and wider University IT support services, to enable the University to effectively manage and deliver IT support services within the constraints of the managed services agreement

Software versioning is at the heart of software development. It is a fundamental pillar on which effective software development and delivery is dependant. Without effective version management software development is vulnerable to defect proliferation, inconsistency in environment, delivery and ultimately results in poor if not terrible service reliability.

This project aims to create a policy for staff using admin accounts to log in to Windows and Linux servers.

Core support for ColdFusion version 11 reached end of life at the end of April 2019. Extended support is available for a maximum of 2 years to allow migration to the latest technology. 

This project will move all corporate ColdFusion applications using version 11 to a new supported ColdFusion 2018 environment.

 

A wiki page will be set up to monitor the applications.

The purpose of this project is to upgrade Health and Safety department's risk management system, Cardinus. The Cardinus Risk Management system is used across the university to manage ergonomic Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments as well as some department specific risk assessments such as laboratory.
