  • A discussion was held on FIN121 eTime.  Garry confirmed that the additional information provided from FIS would not impact the original recommendation from SEP team that this project should not be progressed.  ACTION - Emma to update Lee and Liz / IS Apps team with the objective of gaining agreement on progressing / withdrawing this project from the 2017/18 programme.
  • Emma provided an update on ISG008 Alma Two Way Feed with eFin - This is a business analysis project within Libraries however requires a Finance Lead to ensure alignment with wider strategies and projects.  The Project has been unable to secure a Finance Lead for this project and therefore it has not been viable possible to progress the sign off of the project brief and initiation of this project.  The project requires an estimated 4 days of support from the Finance Lead across the estimated 3 months this project is expected to last.  Due to significant pressures on resources from wider business needs and projects across Finance the service have been unable to identify a lead within the current year to support this project. This project is being undertaken to meet audit recommendations and is under particular scrutiny due to the significant risks attached to not progressing it.  The issue (https://www.projects.ed.ac.uk/unpublished/project/isg009/issues/3) has therefore been escalated by the Project Sponsor and via audit to try and resolve.
