Project Brief

This project will take will take place in two stages.

The first stage will create a 3.10 beta environment and upgrade that environment in order to assess whether the upgrade of the service should go ahead. There will be a  milestone  at the end of this stage at which the decision whether or not  to proceed will be taken. This decision will depend upon whether the upgrade proves to resolves existing issues in 3.10, whether the upgrade introduces any issues not existing in 3.10, whether an implementation plan for the upgrade to DEV, TEST and LIVE has been signed off and  whether there is remaining time and budget to complete the upgrade and what the support position would be if the upgrade was or was not carried out.

The second stage, if approved, will upgrade the DEV, TEST, LIVE and TRN environments and ensure that all operational processes continue to run as required.
