Overview
Background
The current system is at end of life and on unsupported infrastructure. Currently on CF version 9 there is no support for it from Adobe, and the Solaris license agreement for the server it resides on (Morton) comes to an end on 31st July 2016. The application will need to be migrated off of Morton before 31/7/16, and as such will be upgraded from CF9 to ColdFusion 11.
It has been discovered that part of the Print Credit application (XPR SQL server database) resides on MIS-FORD which is to be decommissioned as at end of life. This database houses the logs history for students and does not affect the ColdFusion upgrade but students need to be able to see their print history (it only affects history displayed in the print channel and nothing else). This database needs to be moved to an new SQL server instance and the application componentsrepointed to the new XPR DB server
This was not part of the original scope from proposal stage but the programme manager has been able to secure the budget to cover this move. The move must be completed by 23 May 2016.

The upgrade of Online Print Credit application to Coldfusion 11 on new server
Bamboo will be used as the deployment framework - using Bamboo will not impact the budget.

Moving XPR SQL server database from MIS-FORD to an new SQL server instance
Out of scope:

Changes or enhancements to the application itself are out of scope.
