As discussed,

1 In order to prepare the inputs to the 2/3 October workshop, Matt, Iain and Stefan need to meet regularly through September.

*** Action : Matt, as I am away from 12/9, could I ask you to set up these meeting - 4 x 2 hours - as if I set them up and they need to then change or be edited it is a hassle if I am away. ***

2 We should meet with Partners.

*** Action : I shall contact St Andrews and Abertay to confirm they are working on the project, and suggest we meet them week before workshop. ***

*** Action: Matt, Iain, Stefan to set up a shareable space for where they and Kevin and Colin/Louise can work together. ***

3 We should drive our analysis and meeting with partners, and workshops, by

Focussing on just 2 or 3 of the default tables - hardware, software, say.

Use real examples to get a check on the configuration e.g.  use MyED for servers and software, use Desktops for hardware

4 Iain proposed we should not hasten to exclude TOPSIS as a tool we or partners might want to use.

5 I am waiting for Rik from TOPdesk to confirm a bunch of stuff back to me - workshop agenda, prep, scope of work being commissioned re. the holding database and scripts, who their guys need to work with and when .. etc.

Hopefully on Monday

6 I am waiting to hear from Matt and Robert on best approach to communicating to other IS division and non-IS folk.

7 I am on leave 12th - 30th Sept. We feel that Matt is best placed to keep an eye on things. Matt, let me know if that is ok as I know it is start of term.
