There are two objectives to this project

1.Ability for students to send their proposed course selection to Personal Tutors

Path has been largely used by Personal Tutors during their 1st meetings with students. There is now a strong demand by Personal Tutors for further use. Students will be able to save and submit their course selections to their PT prior to their initial meeting. This would give them a quick and easy way to show their preliminary selections to their PT and allowing their PT to see they have been exploring the available options. PT will then be able to open their tutee's degrees in the builder with their enrolled courses, as well as opening the submitted selections.

2.Use of most popular course data

Use of most popular course data and ability to add recommended courses within Schools.  This is to support areas of the curriculum where there is wide scale choice to enable current students to review the most popular courses taken (this can be driven from system data, like the KIS data held in SITS).  Where there is mainly a fixed curriculum with limited choice, schools would like the option to be able to build a recommended course option and only be notified if the student deviates from this recommendation to be able to inform them of what options they may no longer have access to.
