This project will switch-off legacy Research Management systems - Infinite and InfoEd and associated databases and interfaces- and then ITI will decommission the associated servers that host these applications and databases , and physically remove the old servers. ( as this old hardware is no longer covered by standard support). Associated software and staging tables will also need to be removed from some of the UoE shared infrastructure.

The implementation and rollout of the new Worktribe Research management system means that the InfoEd and Infinite systems are no longer required from June 2016 ,  and as  legacy data from 1st Jan 2008 has already been  migrated to the the new Worktribe system, then the legacy systems can be safely decommissioned.
