Migration Plan for WordPress Sites

1) Alain - Set up reseller account on chost1.is.ed.ac.uk, provide connection details/credentials for Gary.

1) Gary - Set up required accounts on chost1 (Bronze accounts for sites <1GB, Silver accounts for those >1GB) and document connection credentials.

2) Gary - Provide Archives of first batch of sites.

3) Gary - Upload/unarchive files, import database then edit wp-config.php to reflect new database credentials.

4) Gary/Alain - Import WP install into Softaculous script manager and backup site.

5) Gary - Investigate and fix any initial migration issues (e.g. hard coded windows paths etc.)

6) Gary - Inform site owners and provide access credentials where appropriate.

7) Gary/Alain - Arrange DNS update (overnight or scheduled).

8) Gary/Site Owners - Access Wordpress and update WP core & Plugins. Rollback if any issues encountered.
