Emerging patterns for data transfer volume, schedules and peaks are understood. This will allow the University to anticipate future volumes as the rollout progresses and plan accordingly. |
Confirm that a data transferred through use of the lecture recording installations is secure and complies with University best practice. |
To produce a coherent system structure that maps clearly how data moves from room, to network, to cloud platform. |
To produce administrators of the system who are knowledgeable about the system structure and confident in their ability to answer/solve day to day issues. |
To establish the best utilisation plan for the desktop recorder in relation to this service and how it fits into the full suite of media services available at the University. |

Commentary:
With limited access to Echo360 before the end of June and a complex multi stream project implementation the team can be happy to have delivered a coherent configuration of the Echo360 Active Learning Platform (ALP). The setup of the ALP has allowed one of the key objectives to be met and the team has produced administrators of the system who are knowledgeable
Non-mandatory activities have been achieved with the release of the software recorder to all staff. No specific volume testing of data transfer was completed as during execution of the implementation the network team did not see this as an issue, which has been proved correct in service.
I recommend this workstream is closed with thanks to all involved.
