Impact

Priority and Funding

The project is core funded and at Annual Planning stage estimated as 125 days. Planning estimate is 100 days - a review of effort will be completed on successful in place upgrade of test environment.

 

The project has an overall priority of NORMAL (It should be considered to be moved to HIGHER due to the EOL status of infrastructure and the software current version is eminently nearing end of support).

 

Impact and Dependencies

Any changes to the LIVE ASTA service will need to be managed between IS Applications MI reporting dates to minimise the impact to users. 

This project is not expected to impact the IS Applications start/end of year preparations but this could become a concern if the project is not completed by July 2020. Also require to consider changes around quarterly periods e.g. end of October, January, April and July.

Due to upgrade activities it is essential that Timesheet Management  is tightly controlled and monitored to ensure no outstanding timesheets remaining at time of upgrade of both Test and Live environments.

Ensure tabular reporting in ASTA is not effected and does not impact links to Power BI reports on projects website.
