Overview
Background
The University of Edinburgh gave a commitment in September 2013 to cease the use of Hours to be Notified (HTBN) contracts and has now moved the employees on these contracts onto an alternative contract. HTBN contracts formally ceased on 31 October 2014.
This project is one part of the large Enhancing Employment project in HR. A paper was presented to the Enhancing Employment Board and explains the change in scope from this 14/15 project's proposal. The Board approved the Proposal for the technical project.
This project will help deliver the University's aim of removing "Hours to Be Notified".
