Overview

Background

The University is required to provide staffing information to HESA on an annual basis.

Each year, HESA provides requirements for the current submission.  This usually involves some modifications to the existing process.  For the 2013/14 submission, the HESA requirements have some items carried over from last year's return that are likely to be required for this year.

  • APEX - There was a change required on the APEX system created in 12/13 for HESA. When the issue was encountered it resulted in a person being both typical and atypical in the same year - thus resulting in the same assignment qualifying for inclusion in the hesa return under two different categories in the same year.
