eAuthorisations updates now Live |
The latest updates to the eAuthorisations application were deployed into the University's Live environment on Monday 20th July 2015.
This version of eAuthorisations delivers three distinct sets of business requirements: |

- Project Brief was approved by WIS but on the condition that the project progresses according to the recommendations from the Architecture Group
- Feedback from Project Sponsor indicates that only workpackage will be completed within this project. The budget for the remaining workpackages will be transferred to the Launch Phase 2 project to fund resolution of the technical issues they're encountering

- Project Brief re-submitted to WIS following its rejection last week whent the PM was on leave
- Architecture Group advised of the proposed solution as recommended by WIS
- Catch-up held with developer to determine the status of the workpackage 1 development. Small change required to code for HTBN wording for another project, which will be undertaken early next week so that peer testing can take place on the final version.

- Meeting held with other Project Managers on projects making changes to eAuthorisations (RES055 & HRS083) to agree how best to tackle the deployments
- Meeting held with Dev Tech to evaluate the impact of promoting eAuthorisations to live before FIN101 Launchpad Phase 2 is complete. It is currently thought that the impact will be minimal but additional testing will be required to check this.

- The Project Sponsor has advised that Finance can work around the anomoly regarding eFIn users with no financial limits in eAuth. The result is that workpackage 1 design/development is acceptable and can be deployed to Test for UAT.

- Response received from Finance re requirements for workpackage 1. The response has caused an issue as Finance wish to change the requirements and development has already been completed.
- Some requirements for workpackage 2 have been received but they are insufficient for design to begin.

- Meeting held with Production Management and Dev Tech to discuss their involvement in the project
- Project Brief signed-off by IS Apps stakeholders but still waiting for reply from Finance.
- The Business Lead has been off sick this week so the formal planning sign-off will be delayed into next week. Work on workpackage 1 will continue in the meantime to avoid further delaying the project.
- Peer Testing for workpackage 1 is scheduled for next week
- Still no response from FInance regarding requirements for workpackage 2
