Overview
Background
This project was initiated to identify and deliver key enhancements to ABS and IS Apps-developed applications within Finance.
There have been a number of fixes and upgrades to ABS systems in Finance, identified through the support of Finance applications. In order to enable Support to focus on 'Keeping the Show on the Road' activities it has been agreed that these changes will be taken forward under a project. This project will seek to divide the enhancements into separate work packages and to deliver as many enhancements as possible within the allocated budget. While the focus will be on ABS applications, there will also be some small changes to software developed in IS Apps.
The project will also consider refreshing the data within Dev and Test environments to enable projects to conduct improved user testing and training.
Scope
This project has a fixed budget of 128 days (this includes additional carry over of 40 days from last year's project FIN093). The enhancements within scope will be sorted into priority order via discussions between Finance and IS Apps. An initial discussion highlighted the first batch of enhancements required, which are listed in a separate spreadsheet below. Enhancements that are not delivered in time for this project will roll over into the project for next year, but will be re-prioritised accordingly at the planning stage.
Once the list of enhancements has been prioritised and separated into work packages, additional items may be added or the priority order altered if the need arises. These requests must be agreed by the Project Sponsor and new requests may be considered for prioritisation as each work package is concluded.
A list of enhancements being considered for prioritisation can be found here.
Enhancements will be tracked via Jira, with a Jira issue for each item:
