Deployment Strategy
Proposed Live deployment Wednesday 9th September 10am.
Full day outage will be required to perform the upgrade.
Holding pages will be put up for EBIS Online, WebCentral and FireAct MyEd channels. Users of Archibus will be reminded not to access the system on the day and time of deployment.
Cron Jobs will be disabled.
The database will be backed up prior to upgrade.
Apps Management will perform checks after upgrade.
Business will then perform testing before removing holding pages and allowing access for end users.
Full day At Risk up until the end of the following day
Dependencies
No dependencies on other systems. Service Alerts have been checked also to ensure no conflicts will occur on the deployment date.
Communication
Estates to communicate to EBIS_Online, ARCHIBUS, WebCentral and FireAct Channel users of the downtime.
