The Oracle SOA suite was chosen as one of the key enabling technologies for enterprise application integration and developing agile business processes.  Oracle are withdrawing their support for SOA version 10g.  Once this is done it would leave our core IDM database running on an unsupported platform.  To ensure that we maintain a reliable, supplier compliant platform for the University this project will deliver the migration of the IDM database to Oracle SOA 11g.  As well as retaining support this will also allow us to take advantage of the enhanced development opportunities facilitated by the new version.

The project completes the migration work done as part of COM007 and has a targeted delivery before the start of academic year 15/16.
