Actions for Complex Migrations - August-October (I)

HB - EB Connection Issue Maurice and Fernando Meet with Anthony Davies and set out resolution of the Easter Bush - Hugh Robson connection : Done

Anthony's team is working on setting up servers and once done, this issue can be resolved. Maurice to contact Anthony w/c 21st. Milestone set as 2nd October.

Adobe Connect Alister complete TAD for existing Adobe Connect ; Done 'quote' to get the server upgraded to acceptable standards - IS will not take on Adobe Connect unless on acceptable i/f. Maurice to contact Paul w/c 21st and expectation is that the work will go ahead and Maurice to request Alister's time. Milestone set as 16th October.

Gary send through information to Stefan so we can virtualise the Tristan TEST environment as-is Maurice to follow up with Stefan and Gary. Will we use de-commisisoned machines for this? If so, then Milestone is depending on decomissioning milestone.

Two Additional Websites Fernando to send info to Maurice Maurice to follow up with Alain Forrester to have them moved to Plesk. Milestone set as 30th October.

Complex Migrations Matt : w/c 28th September - Sync and switch services to test and live for complex migration Matt is taking a mixed approach to migration : sometimes simply switching DNS, but for some services (eeMec) avoiding downtime by opening the DB up to old and new applications whilst preventing upload of files by old system. Matt will work with Alister on this.  

w/c 5th and 12th October - Snagging

Simple Windows Migrations Maurice to follow up with Alain as to when traning can be given for the new i/f, so Matt can then work on this with Alain. Estimate is 5-10 days of effort from Matt's team. Milestone set as 30th October.

Site 24/7 Stefan to pick a service for each of the four new servers and let Matt know. eeMec and eeVec are obviously two.

Decommissioning Probably will be through November.
