Achievements this Period

• Developer resource assigned to update connections and deploy bamboo changes if necessary and test
• RMAN repositories for DEV / TEST and LIVE (required for backups) are in place and complete.
• Upgrade DEV environment to 12.2 complete
• Continuing investigations of what's required to migrate each application.

Issues

• More application changes and interface information is coming to light after investigations on doing the actual data migration. This has taken longer than we originally thought and has impacted the actual migration of the applications to DEV.
• DTI006 bookings have been assigned to the technical architect, but conflicts hadn't been addressed. The Technical architect will complete the migration to DEV and hand over to another to complete TEST. There has been a contractor employed with the relevant experience to take this on, and there is another person in the team who could also take this on.
• Annual leave has delayed completing the DEV migration.

Next Steps

• Agree and assign Technical Architect resource to continue with TEST and LIVE
• Complete the DEV migrations
• Post DEV migration testing
• Migrate to TEST
• Post TEST migration testing

RAG Commentary

Issue. Time is amber as the amount of work estimated to migrate GEN Dev is more than thought. Work continuing in identifying all schemas, however milestones will need to be revised. Handover required after DEV migration to another technical resource.

Achievements in Last Period

• Completed the replanning of the project following the loss of booked resources to HSS014. All iterations 3 deliverables should now be delivered in 16/17 with containerisation deliverables moved to 17/18.
• Agreed a budget swap with HSS014 for 34 days.
• D1.1 Custom Packaging for Edgel Innovation and D1.3 Improvements in Django Starter confirmed as delivered.
• Started D1.4 Migration of IDM Dashboard as part of iteration 3. Python documentation is also progressing.
• Nominated an application upon which to complete DR testing.

Issues

• A budget swap was agreed with HSS014 but a question has been raised whether or not this project should be closed this year and a new project started when the organisation is ready to progress containerisation. Revised project milestones have not been proposed until this issue is resolved.

Next Steps

• Confirm when the project is to close, update milestones and WIS accordingly.
  • it should be noted that if the project closes early due to the agile nature of the delivery this will not affect the deliverables that have already been achieved.
