Phase 1 of the UoE IoT Research and Innovation Service was launched in 2018, and a separate project is under way to deliver phase 2 of the service, which will open it up to external partners. Our wider engagement will be boosted through our own Edinburgh hosted inaugural IoT Service conference event, Intelligent Connected Things (ICoT), which will be held on 5th December.
At the conference, we will report on the launch our Phase Two service capabilities and will showcase use of IoT in education and novel IoT solutions as they apply to the ten core DDI sectoral areas.
This conference will take place primarily in the Informatics Forum, with some additional elements taking place in the Bayes Centre. The project will be a joint enterprise with the Bayes Implementation Project (BIP) team, and this conference will be reported as a BIP industry day.
