New Polopoly Web CMS Upgrade Project

Polopoly is currently the UoE Content Management system ( CMS) of choice and underpins the provision of the University Website and associated services.

The current version of Polopoly requires to be upgraded to maintain support from the vendor and compatibility with other components of our IT infrastructure such as our Oracle database. This project will investigate and recommend the version of Polopoly to use and apply the upgrade.

To maintain the current service levels and ensure continued reliability for web site content providers and users the project will also replace our current web servers as the current machines are nearing the end of their operational life span.

All of the upgraded and replaced will be load tested to ensure they can meet the demands when they are switched on to provide the LIVE service.
