Annual Timetabling Service Rebuild and Roll-Forward

Timetabling annual rebuild and roll-forward started

The project to begin the annual process by which the timetabling service is rebuilt, allowing a switchover between the current and new academic years has begun.

This is an essential  process as  the users of timetabling service must be able to begin planning for the new academic year while still in the current year.

It is also a lengthy process as different parts of the service  are configured to make the 16/17 year services available to those users  at different times, beginning in late 2015 and continuing until  the final switchover in August 2016.
