Acceptance Test Strategy

TEL will lead on acceptance testing with support from the Business Analyst in IS Applications.  TEL staff have prior experience in undertaking the relevant acceptance testing.

The user acceptance testing will commence once all parts of the solution are in place to allow testing of the end-to-end process. 

Test Scenarios and Acceptance Criteria

Once the reporting database and BI universe (and related queries) have been established in TEST, the cron job can be run to populate the required parts of the database. These are also the datasource for the BI reports, so these should be run/extracted and the outputs checked for accuracy and functionality. User testing can also include ad hoc queries, as determined by TEL staff and can also be cross-checked for veracity. The test scripts should include distinct tests for each of the four applications being reported on.
