Overview
Integration testing has now completed, with only minor issues found. These have been sent to TOPdesk and some already fixed.
The three institutions have diverged on their timescales, so milestones have been updated to reflect this.
The Edinburgh team now feel confident that we can ask our UAT folk from outside the project team to user test the CMDB process, the Data Imports and the TreeWalk developments. Edinburgh will sign-off on the H/W extract for partners.
The Person Import work is waiting on UAT by Service Management (who will sign-off for UniDesk, not for just one institution), although not strictly part of the project. Given the delay from our partners, the team will use extra time for UAT, with milestones for sign-offs set to 28/3.
Abertay are engaging with the project as of w/c 3rd March again. Given we had already imported their Hardware Data successfully, then their effort is more data quality and understanding. Having discussed with their lead, we have set a date of 28/3 for UAT Sign_off.
Abertay have also requested a one-off Software data import, so this needs to be set up in March and tested. Abertay will sign-off on the S/W extract for partners.
St Andrews have not engaged with the project and PM has been unsuccessful in getting a call or preferably a meeting. PM has set the UAT sign-off date for St Andrews to be after the project board meeting on the 9th April. Project status is set to AMBER because of this.
Delivery has therefore been set to be after St Andrews sign-off on the assumption that all three institutions needs to sign-off. The board may decide that we can deploy with sign-offs from just Edinburgh and Abertay, so this could be brought forward. Note that key person Matt Beilby is off on paternity leave until mid-April, so a delivery date for after his returns reduces risk considerably anyway.
