Please note that this project is being closed (w.e.f. July 2019) and its scope incorporated within the related implementation project (e.g. procurement people transition activities will be incorporated into the Procurement Service project scope).

The remit for this project has two key objectives:-

• To provide overarching support for people and change activities during the implementation of the Finance Target Operating Model (TOM).

• To design and implement a number of separate work packages which will support initiatives being delivered under the TOM i.e.:

  • Formation of a Finance Executive to act as strategic and operational partners in the leadership and delivery of finance services across the University.
  • Implementation of Dual Accountability reporting lines to standardise finance management and enhance the professional development of finance staff.
