Achievements in Last Period

  • Completed the executive summary for project board -Provided estimations of work for 1) software change, 2)migration to HECOS, 3) business change
  • Detailed the implementation migration of JACS to HECoS and estimated resources
  • Completed data governance and reviewed with Ops

Issues

  • Dates still not known: expected HESA to announce new dates in July 2019 (was May 2019)

  • Resource gaps highlighted to project board. Decision required following replanning work over 3 years and as per priority . At the moment no Developer secured apart from lead dev. BA gap too. Raised at programme level https://secure.projects.ed.ac.uk/unpublished/programme/sac/risks/44- and escalated to programme owner to clarify funding with GASP

  • Dependencies with suppliers to address some of the issues raised:
    • software release (Aug & Oct 2019)
    • Tribal consultancy booked from July 2019 onwards

Note that 2nd stream - new data required to be captured at the next registration. PM secured and analysis work in progress see separate initiated project https://secure.projects.ed.ac.uk/project/sac078

  • Replan work over 3 years and present priorities
  • New go live date from HESA board expected in July: replan project/milestones accordingly
