Achievements in Last Period

  • System analysis progressing : aim to provide software estimation end June
  • Secured BA to detail implementation migration of JACS to HECoS and estimate resources
  • Progressed with data governance, being reviewed with Ops

Issues

  • Rescheduled dates still not known: expected HESA to announce new dates in July 2019 (was May 2019)

  • Analysis behind schedule due to sickness. Working towards getting all high priorities analysis completed and estimated for end June.  Full analysis likely to complete early Aug.

  • Dev gap from July. No Developer secured apart from lead dev. BA gap too. Raised at programme level https://secure.projects.ed.ac.uk/unpublished/programme/sac/risks/44- and escalated to programme owner to clarify funding with GASP

  • Dependencies with suppliers to address some of the issues raised:
    • software release (Aug & Oct 2019)
    • Tribal consultancy booked from July 2019 onwards

  • Progress with analysis and complete high level estimates
  • Progress with detailed plan for migration to HECoS and estimates

  • New go live date from HESA board expected in July: replan project/milestones accordingly
