Work/Task Breakdown

This project has an iterative delivery focussed approach, the following will be the steps for the work/task breakdown:

1.     Document requirements with the business, to include business and system changes. -- Status: Complete, working directly with sponsor. 2.     Produce a prioritised list of system changes with estimates --Status: Delivery 1 complete, Delivery 2 pending 3.     Define iteration/release cycle -- Status: Underway using agile methodology where testing is running alongside development. 4.     Define and prepare training requirements -- Status: Student Systems Operations and Academic Services currently preparing support and guidance materials 5.     Plan releases to the live environment. To include records for the acceptance sign off from all stakeholders involved (business analyst, developer, business owner, SACS support/IS Apps Man) . 6.     Track the enhancement's achievements, issues, and next steps on the monthly project report.

 

Resources Skills and Cost

SSP IS Developers and SSP BA/PM. Other IS staff only used for Deployment & decommissioning.

Phase 1 is estimated at 120d.

Phase 2  is estimated at 200d .

Only a small IS SSP effort will be done in 15/16 to complete the foundation phase. The build is expected to be done in 16/17
