Overview

Background 

 At the beginning of November, a new version of PURE was been released by the software vendors, Atira. This project encompasses three software upgrades and the associated versions are explained in more detail in the project scope.

The current PURE upgrades also include an upgrade of the current version of Java to version 1.8 and Tomcat to version 8.

Category, Priority and Funding 

This is a core funded, priority 2 Package SW (IMP)  project.  

The Research Programme has a 50 day budget for this project.  The Brief estimate's balance of an additional 26 days will be met by transfer from RES060's 2014-15 budget.  (RES060 now plans to carry 30d forward to 2015-16.)
