The Enterprise Reagent Manager (ERM) Application used by Chemistry and Procurement has been successfuly ugraded.

Enterprise Reagent Manager (ERM) is a chemical management and eOrdering tool currently integrated with SciQuest using Select Site. This project has successfully upgraded the application and this has  enabled ERM to continue being supported by SciQuest .

ERM contributes to the efficient recording and reporting of chemical storage and usage, across the University where such reporting is required under government health and safety and terrorism legislation (Chemical Weapons (Notification) Regulations, and the Anti-Terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001).

Just a quick note to say that I'm delighted that we've closed PPS005, and that , despite some delays due to supplier resource availability, the project went very smoothly, and our main customer is happy.

Plans for Upgrade

Tom Russell at SciQuest 21-Nov-13 18:34 and correcpondence between us

1. Yes we can start the upgrade work on 7 January.

Would you please help us verify two key assumptions?:

1.1.   We are upgrading the existing test and production environment in place, and not creating new installations

  • Ewan confirmed that this is correct

1.2.  The current test environment is operational (you can currently log in and perform key functions)

Correspondence on Brief

Brief review by WIS

Having had the Brief reviewed at the IS Management Meeting - we realised I had put in some unnecessary information regarding Single Sign On which has now been removed.

Just a point of clarity regarding the Brief:

This piece of information under Deliverables:

" Single Sign On   - unchanged as Single Sign On to Select Site which is then punched out to ERM (no change, as is currently)"
