P1 RUP 7 DEV Patching

Work started on applying the patch 5-Jan, however it hung in the afternoon.

An Oracle call has been raised 6-Jan re the fact the process says it is runing but not completed after 16 hours.

May be a JAVA issue

Patching delayed until Friday 9th.

This was completed on 9th and verified by John on the 12th.

Pam was able to start checking out Dev, issues came up that patches have been released to resolve the issues.

SASG Dev unable to complete the 3 patches until Tuesday 20-Jan (after the Clone - clone from 15-19Jan) (no availability on 14th PM)

Waiting to hear if Pam can complete her testing in Dev on the 21st

Then Patching RUP 7 and 3 small patches in Test to take place 22-23 Jan

After that Pam can do her RUP 7 and 3 small patches in Test to take place 26-30 Jan

before Go Live 5th Feb

28-Jan-15

Agreed Go Live 4th Feb from 13:00

Wed will do the Bkup and RUP 7 work

Thurs 5th Feb until 13:00

will cover the + 4 patches and checking out by John , Susan and Pam B

System will be back at 13:00 with At Risk for 2 hours

Change control, Alert, ASTA, HR and Business Diary have all been updated as well as agreed with IS Apps HR and Payroll for this cahnge of date. Less risk and supported by IS Apps through out.
