Overview

Background

Due to student feedback concerning University network access and wifi issues experienced at several NHS locations, there is a need to evaluate the current provision in these spaces, discuss the matters with the appropriate NHS IT teams and propose solutions.

Scope

1. Confirm resolution for the speed issues of eduroam within NHS Lothian
2. Complete installation of eduroam in NHS Forth Valley
3. Resolve issues experienced in NHS Lanarkshire
4. Investigate and provide solution for the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion (PAEP)
5. Review and possibly develop the connectivity in NHS Dumfries and Galloway

Objectives

To improve the University network access or wifi provision in the NHS locations, which will in turn improve the current and future student experience.
