The idea behind this proposal is to run a competition to design a pictorial wrap-around St Cecelia's Hall during the reconstruction period, using images from our collection in order to raise awareness of both the museum and the University collections. Students would be invited to create designs using images from the MIMEd collection to cover either the entire building or key aspects of it, reusing and repurposing the images as creatively as they wish. Part of the competition would involve costing the project and identifying potential suppliers.

Finding is required to promote the contest and award prizes for the best designs.

Additional funding will be required to create the structure. This will be sought via at the St Cecilia’s Hall Redevelopment Project.
