Provide University students, staff and Visitors with the facility to submit a digital image through a MyEd channel for use with producing the University Card.
A MyEd channel already exists for Online Distance Learners to submit digital images for use with first card production, and provides a basis for development of a channel suitable for all students, and for creating a similar channel that can be used by all staff and Visitors.
There is an administration web application for University Card Services staff to manage the submission of digital images which will need modification to manage images from different user types and to resolve outstanding issues with the current system.
The means of systematic communication directly with card applicants and notification of digital image submission status requires work, particularly in the case of staff and Visitors.
The Card database receiving data from the three primary data sources for students, staff and Visitors will need revision.
