| Second challenge now enforced for BI and Evision users |
The EASE second challenge has now been enforced for BI and Evision users. As part of a drive to improve data security, users of these applications who are already logged onto EASE must now also provide characters from a "memorable word" which they have set, in order to use these applications. |

Senior management approved the plan to end the grace period on 30/11/15. On this date enforcement of the second challenge will take place for BI and Evision users.

| Access security to be improved for Evision and BI users |
The EASE second challenge will increase security of university data by allowing applications which have been appropriately configured to make use of an challenge to the user who is already EASE-authenticated. The first two applications so configured, the Business Information Suite and Evision are currently in the "Grace period" in which users are invited to set up their second challenge. This project will oversee the enforcement of the second challenge for BI and Evision, ensuring a smooth transition for users |
