P2 Items to follow up.

 UoE Customisations and  Issue

• Compiled form has vanished, was in TEST and LIVE.How did it get deleted (Gillian ran autoconfig file to ersolve,  (is that correct?).
• One issue encountered was that the UoE customisations for part time hours and salary were missing from the grade steps forms screen. Grade Step
• There is also a customisation for the Pensions Form which also needs verified. Pensions Form
• Greg had this in his implementation forms last year as part of the post patches process.. This needs to be in our documentation
• John mentioned that the safest way will be to generate a new version each time so can be sure it is uptodate.
  • There is a general form script that is run, but is hard coded, so maybe have 2 versions so that can both be run without having to change the code inbetween?
  • Do all 2 environments need this?
• During running a clone check that the
  • Pensions Form and
  • Grade Step report are generated.
• They can be both run if required by the Oracle Shell script run  for each one

Post Patch Step - Customisation TEST Grade Step

• At present DEV, TEXT and LIVE are different. LIVE is OK
• In the past Ana recompiled this.
• Last year Greg did it
• Ron ran LIVE on Thursday
• There is an issue with Recompiling  TEST - TEST did not compile, TNS error.
  • Investigation by Dev Tech that frmcmp-batch.sh file  was different between LIVE, TEST amd DEV.
    • It was manually sorted out by copying the LIVE file to both TEST and DEV.
    • This will need to be followed up next time any pathches/clones are run.
• Should this be raised with Oracle?  Need to be aware when next Clone or patch is done if this is an issue, needs to be verified on the WIKI.

 Post Patch Procedures

• John is starting a Postr Patch procedures on the WIKI
• Ops Doc should also refer to Post Patch steps
• Post Clone steps will be verified in April when HR LIVE is cloned to HR DEV
• Does HR Global affect this?
• If so it is an Oracle owned patch and an SR is needed?

Reports Schedule

• After the patches were applied the scheduled daily reports were not processed. Going forward, after a patch is applied, I need to check the reports are still scheduled and if not, schedule them all again. This needs to be documented as a post patching activity. - Pam B

  • When the patching work is finished let Pam know BEFORE access is given back to the Business
  • Pam will then check that the reports schedule is correct
  • Business can go beck in.
