Achievements

• Considerable time has been spent to confirm the suitability of the identified mobile device - Samsung Galaxy S5, This process has been assisted through the purchase of two devices for the project team
• Further system demonstrations within the Estates department have taken place with the Furniture office
• Additional functional requirements have been both identified and specified in conjunction with MASS to supply estimates regarding both time and costs
• Continued the preparation of the system user guides
• Continued development of the Scenario testing
• Fault types identified and completed

Issues

• Re-plannning of project and re-estimation to be completed during September once approval given to proceed with the defined enhancements
• A number of unexpected issues discovered during the testing to-date are now being pursued with Mass and Archibus where appropriate

Next Steps

• Define full test script for both application and mobile devices based on the defined scenario

• Complete the remaining Fault Type and associated Repair Type definitions relating to the heating engineers

• Weekly conference calls with Mass to ensure progress and targets for the coming week
• Confirm plan regarding the implementation of the identified changes - expected during September
• Implement fixes to be received from Archibus
• Undertake more rigorous system testing
• Begin user acceptance testing during late September, based on delivery of identified enhancements
• Commence consultation with the Estates department business partners regarding fault reporting
• Capacity and Performance Testing to be planned during UAT

Now that the project is moving towards Acceptance Testing, the project has been assigned an overall RAG status of Amber until further clarity over project timescales and the remaining project budget can be established
