- EST080-269 - Issue with Stock Updates
Further to GTM with Andrew and Sanjay the pt table currently updates when Work Request is Closed through console. Sanjay is going to investigate whether a trigger can be created on the wrpt table which will update pt table quantity available when Work Requests are synced. This will give real time update to Parts.Parts are added to Work Requests through the Mobile when Works are at Issued and In ProcessNeed to keep in mind that we may use Estimate of parts in future on PPM
Following our conference call, Sanjay and I have tested the PPM generation with parts and these go into the estimated quantity for the work request and the actual quantity on hand for the part is immediately updated as well as the reserve amount. We can write a trigger that will update the actual quantity in real time that will cover inserts, updates and deletes in the wrpt table. Web Central will continue to update any estimates in real time as it does currently. To cover the removal of the Web Central close process we will also need to adjust the monthly calculation stored procedure to reset any parts that have estimates on them and have not actually been used. If you agree, we can estimate for this change. Quote has subsequently been Supplied and forwarded to Estates to review.
- EST080-271 - Approve Screen Updates: patch received from Mass and the changes have been applied to both Dev and Test. call returned to Estates to test
- EST080-273 - New JIRA created on the back of running monthly billing process. There is now the requirement to change the 'transfer to and from Finance' to reference both the Live and Archived tables for Goods and Contract Invoices. In the meantime missing invoices will need to be transferred manually
- EST080-274 - New call raised as previously bundled with EST080-259: Report has been created through Live Webcentral Url but is not showing when click on link in Webcentralcad Url giving error Page Unavailable as per attached. Files have been copied to the common area on the CAD environment and appears to be working after testing by Andrew Taylor. Now with Estates to test. It should be noted that reports should be created under the webcentralcad url as this will enable the reports to be located in the common area which is accessible via the EASE webcentral login, but does not work in the reverse order.
Additional Activity
Conversations have been held with Mass regards IL004 - Process to complete work for Contract services whilst waiting for invoices. Two options are currently being explored by Mass via Archibus, namely; (1) Insert an additional stage in the standard workflow process - it is noted that this solution is considered extremely risky
(11) Consider a change to the stop process that will enable the work request to be re-activated on receipt of invoice. Whilst this may not stop the clock with regards the work request, it is seen as the more favourable solution
