Priority and Funding

This is an essential project as the eportal server is not wholly supported by IS Applications Support and has limited disaster recovery in place. In addition the eportal server is outside of its warranty and is due for replacement.

The funding for this project for 2011/12 is paid for by the transfer of staff from ECA to IS Applications.

Impact and Dependencies

This project cannot commence until the completion of ECA002 - Exam Boards Phase as this is delivering critical exam board reporting and uploading to EUCLID from the LMS. The user acceptance testing must occur in June 2012 in order for the business area to be able to commit resources, if it isn't possible to provide an environment to test in by Mid June then the project will need to be delayed.
