Sprint 2 completed.

The design and build of the load of the HR Assignments into the Staging and Foundation layers of the HR datamart in Enterprise Data Warehouse is now complete.

Each Sprint is 3 weeks long. It starts with a Sprint planning session to prioritise the backlog and estimate the size of each user story. Each sprint ends with a sprint review to play back what has been delivered.

There is a dedicated project team of approx 5FTE working on the DTI049 HR Strategic reporting project.

New project started to build HR datamart within the Enterprise Data Warehouse

A new BI/MI team has been created to build the new datamarts for HR and Finance. The new datamarts will ensure continuity of strategic reporting when the legacy HR and Finance systems are switched off and replaced by the new core system.

Work has started on the HR datamart first.

The project team will build the new datamart through a number of time-boxed agile sprints.
