OPAS is a health and safety application used by Occupational Health which consists of eight client machines accessing data from one SQL Server database. The server the database currently resides on is nearing end of life and scheduled to be switched off.
This project will focus on migrating the OPAS data onto newer existing supported servers and re-point the eight client machines to the new database location. The database OPAS currently sits on is SQL Server 2005 which Microsoft have an extended support end date of April 2016, so the migration would also involve an upgrade to our SQL Server 2008 infrastructure.
